I'm back! I have been so busy trying to get our house back in order from the roof leak. We are slowly getting there. We are moving furniture around from room to room now that the kids are gone and we have more options with the rooms. We ended up painting 3 bedrooms and 1 bathroom. I'm still working on sewing projects for 2 of the rooms. I'm getting there! I LOVE LOVE LOVE my guest room and I'll take some pics to show you when it is all done!
So...this is a card that I made a few weeks ago for my Mom to give to one of her friends. This photo does not come close to doing it justice. It's really gorgeous! There are lots of Spellbinders pendants and tags used. Lots of punches. The papers are DCWV and then some gold metallic papers. I heat embossed the Congrats and the other sentiment was printed in gold on the computer. There is lots of layering with dimensionals. There are lots and lots of pearls - many to the left and right of the pendant. It was a fun card to make. Hope the recepient likes it too! Have a great weekend!

Another Sympathy Card
This is the second sympathy card I made for my girlfriend and her family. The flower stamp is by Hero Arts and has so many possiblilties. The sentiment is by Just Rite Stamps. The DP is by SU. This was a pretty quick card to make.
Tomorrow I get my wood flooring replaced from our roof leak - FINALLY. I will be so happy to start putting my house back together again. I still have tons of projects to complete for all the CHANGED rooms. My challenge for tomorrow is to try to mount a smocked dress I made for my daughter when she was 5 years old. It is a musical dress that she wore for her first piano recital. I am making one of the bedrooms black, white and red with a musical theme. Her dress is black, white and red so it will be perfect. I covered a pair of her pointe shoes in red lace so they will also be used in the room. I'll post pictures when I get things done. Have a great day!

Sympathy Card
I have a few Sympathy cards to make for my Pastor who married my husband and I over 30 years ago. He also baptized my son. His daughter was my maid of honor in my wedding. Anyways, my Pastor from my hometown died on Sunday and I have a few cards to make for the family. This is the first. I used Just Rite stamps for the sentiments and Paper Trey Ink for the medallions. The punch is a Martha Stewart corner punch. The DP is by American Crafts. The ribbon on the front of the card is a black suede ribbon by May Arts. The second photo is the inside of the card. Come back tomorrow for another card.

Baby Gift Bag Set
I'm back! I've been so busy with so many projects - just not stamping projects. Plus, Muffy has been rather ill so I've been trying to max my time with her. She is such a sweetie and it's so hard seeing her get old.
SO...here is a gift bag and card set I did with just one stamp set from Cornish Heritage Farms. The animal border was cut from some paper by DCWV. It is really what makes this card. The bag was puchased in a set of various bright colors from Target. I'll be back tomorrow with some more things so stop by!

Partially Decomposed FINGERS
Aren't these too cute!!! Waltzingmouse put out some awesome holiday stamps and this one has been calling my name for awhile. I finally got the pretzels done today! They are the miniature pretzel rods. I just got some of the colored chocolates and dipped them and then sprinkled with various holiday sprinkles. They are SO good. I added some flavorings to them to make them a little different. Halloween will be here before we know it!

Holiday Greetings SC298
Thanks for dropping by today! This card is for a sketch challenge on SCS. It's all My Mind's Eyes DP and designer ribbon. The ornament stamp and die is by Waltzingmouse. The sentiment is from a company in western Arizona - not sure of the name. Lots of layering here but that's about it! Have a nice day!

Christmas Gift Box
Hope you had a great weekend. I did! These are the Christmas boxes I had mentioned in the last post...just never got back to post them. I bought these at a craft show and went back and got more!!! They are HUGE! I do lots of baked goodies for the holidays so these will be nice for that as well as for gifts. They are decorated on all 4 sides. She splattered paint on them to look like snow. There are buttons everywhere. I thought about making them myself but didn't want to branch out into ANOTHER craft project right now! I have so much going on now. We are rearranging and redecorating 4 bedrooms so there is just so much to do...lots of sewing too! I'm in heaven!!! Have a great week!

Relax...
I hope you enjoyed your Saturday! I went to a craft show today and got some goodies that were "fun". Nothing stamping related! I found these awesome decorated folded boxes for gifts. I've seen this gal's work before and loved it. Well, I bit the bullet and got some to use for xmas gifts this year. Maybe I will photograph one of them tomorrow and show you. My lighting isn't the best tonight for doing that.
This was one of my favorite stamps last year and I pulled it out again this year. It's a very time consuming stamp to color but that's ok. I think it was from Impression Obsession but I'm not sure on that. The DP is by Cloud 9 Design. I frayed the ends of the ribbon on purpose!
Hope you enjoy your Sunday. I plan to go check out a furniture store in a house!!! Pretty bizarre but I saw a few items I loved and the prices are good so we'll see. That's a new concept for me! Hope your day is fun too!

Christmas Ornament
I bet you didn't think I was serious about finding a pink bed for my craft room for Muffy! Well, I've been hunting and found her one and she is one happy puppy! I think she has a bed in every room of the house! She likes to be where we are and is such a sweetie. She is almost 15 years old!!!
So, in honor of Muffy, I made this special ornament for our tree this year. She probably already has at least 10 Muffy ornaments but this is the first one I have made for her. I found these adorable rhinestone stick-ons at Michael's in their $1 bins. Of course I couldn't resist getting a few. I wasn't sure what I would do with them at the time but knew I would figure something out. And I did. The porcelain ornament is also from Michael's for $1.29. I carefully pulled the doggie off and put her on the ornament. I added a ribbon and it's done! How easy is that! Muffy gave me her seal of approval! Have a great day!

Trick or Treat
Another Halloween card for you today! The cute mouse is by The Paper Studio and is colored with Copics. The candy corn is also by The Paper Studio and is cut out and popped up with dimensionals. The orange and white shape is a stamp by Waltzingmouse Stamps. The punch at the bottom of the card is by Martha Stewart and was cut from Black Magic paper. It is green on one side and black on the other side so when you lightly sand it, the green comes through. Cool, huh! The DP is by Cloud 9 Design. Have a fun day!

Itsy Bitsy Spider
I'm not sure this spider would pass for an itsy bitsy spider! I dug out my Halloween stamps again and I'm back to making Halloween cards. I started pairing up my new papers with some old stamps and this is what I came up with. I love the Cloud 9 Design papers. I could easily use up this pad of paper quickly! The stamps are from The Paper Studio - a few years ago. I'll be back tomorrow with more! Have a great day and thanks for stopping by!

Photobook
Have you ever taken advantage of the FREE photo books that several companies offer? Well, this is my second one and I really think they are awesome deals even though you pay for shipping which is a bit overpriced. But, hey, nothing like having your own pictures in a very professional looking book. This one was made with many of my cards and crafts. The front cover was tough to find something that worked with their templates. It did ok and this is really just a small portion of the original card. The only drawback is that you work with their templates and some are not very flexible. There are many options but the photos that you want to fit in their templates, usually don't fit! So, it's a game! This is a great little book to keep out when people come over and ask you what you do with your free time!

Sunny September
I hope you are enjoying your holiday weekend! It's hot hot hot in Arizona so outdoor picnics just don't happen during the summer months here. So, we just cooked in!!!
This is a Sunny September in Arizona card. Super simple! The stamp is colored with various shades of markers and then stamped. It's a Studio G stamp from Michael's clearance rack.
Hope you have a wonderful Labor Day Celebration!

Halloween Pennants
This was a hard photo to take because it is a quite large project. I have lots of hardwood floors that are bare waiting on some repairs so I decided to use them as my background since I really don't have another place big enough right now. To make these I just took an 81/2 x 11 sheet of black paper and cut out a template for my pennant. From there I made 4 more and then just decorated them with various Halloween papers and things I had on hand. They are tied together with grommets and ribbon. I will hang this over one of my windows near my front door.

So refreshing...
I've been working on projects behind the scenes lately for various submissions so I'm staying quite busy it seems. This is a card that was fun to make. It just seems so refreshing to me! The colors are so relaxing. It's a new Magnolia stamp. The flower is made with felt and Spellbinder's die cuts. The Papers are by Jillibean Soup and My Mind's Eye. The frame is a Spellbinder's die cut as well. Hope you have a wonderful Labor Day Weekend. Stay safe!
