Mickey congrats card

Today I have a card I made for my niece who just graduated from NC State Univ and got her first BIG job.  I wanted to do something a bit different from the usual graduation card so went with the Mickey theme.  This was actually a cut out from some older cardstock I had in my stash.  I added a Mickey sticker and some embellishments and of course a sentiment thaw worked so well with this (SU).  Hope you have a fun day!

Graduation 2014

I found this on my Silhouette and cut the file to make a card.  It was a pretty quick and easy graduation card and I did it in the school colors so that makes it extra special! I put the red in the background so the card would show up better!   Happy crafting!

In Sympathy

Well, I did a 100th birthday card for my hubby's grandma and 3 days before her birthday, she passed away.  It was so sad.  So, unfortunately I am having to do a sympathy card.  Lots of diecuts here and bling to jazz it up a bit.

A Texas graduation card

Another day of snow here in Colorado on this 14th day of May!  Gotta love it!  This was a fun card to make for my niece who graduated from college this past week.  She is from Atlanta and will be taking a job in Dallas, TEXAS.  So, I really wanted to do something different for a graduation card for her and here it is.  I added some western boots on the inside too!  Fun fun!  The stamps are all from an old set by Dee Gruenig.  I have used this Texas set SO much and have always enjoyed it!
Have a wonderful day!

By the Sea, Mother's Day

I am finally getting around to posting this!  This is another Mother's Day card I made.  It is with the new collection by Graphic 45, By the Sea.  My Mom lives in Florida so hopefully this was suitable for her!  It was certainly fun to make!  Hope you had a nice Mother's Day!  Thanks for dropping by!

Happy 100th Birthday!

Today I have a birthday card for my husband's grandmother who will be turning 100 at the end of the month.  This is a card with no stamping, just die cuts and computer sentiment.  I used lots of dimensionals to layer the diecuts.  The crocheted flower is from the $1 rack at the M craft store!  Hope you enjoy your day!

Happy Mom's Day with Graphic 45

Today I have a Mother's Day card to share.  I love all the new Graphic 45 papers and this is from one of the newer collections, Botanical Tea.  I did some fussy cutting for the flower, butterfly and bird images.  I added a diecut for the border and added lots of glitter to the images to jazz it up a bit.  Simple and quick!  Hope your day is happy!

Basket of flowers

This is a quick card I needed to make and get in the mail today.  The background is an embossing folder that was embossed on a printed paper.  The basket and flowers are dies.  Great for an Easter week birthday!  Have a great day!

Graphic 45 Explosion Box

Today I am posting 2 projects I have made with Graphic 45 papers.  This is an explosion box I made for my Mom's bday.  The Graphic 45 papers are just beautiful!  I made a total of 8 pockets on the inside of the box for inserting various cards into of stamped images, cutouts, or even a few of the cards in the package of papers.  I added some rock candy glitter to the cut outs to glitz it up a bit.  Such a fun project with some of my favorite papers!  Happy Crafting!

By the Sea

Today I have a card I made at the last minute for my father-in-law for his bday in 6 days!  He is a lover of fishing and lighthouses and the NC coastline so this was perfect for him.  Graphic 45 has these gorgeous new papers out and so much fun to do things with.  This was a fun card to make...unlike most male cards I have done in the past!  Thanks for dropping by.

Happy Birthday Pastor Peel!!!

It took me half the day to come up with this card for our Pastor on his 75th birthday...but it happened!  Male cards are so hard to do.  I came up with about 3 other ideas before this one and they all flopped...you know how it goes!  Then this one hit me.  My hubby is a pilot so this works well for us.  The church is an embossing folder that I just blinged up a bit with snow on the water colored trees and some glitter on the church.  I found an image of a Colorado SWA plane and cut it out to add to the card.  I think Pastor will like it.

Double birthday

This is a birthday card I made for my daughter-in-law who is a twin.  It's a Magnolia stamp that I have been hunting for for quite some time. I colored it with Copics and used Spellbinders dies to frame it.  Have a fun day!

Dancing Butterfly

This is a fun project made using one stamp!  The image is stamped and embossed several times.  I glittered some of the design and painted some of it too.  The butterfly image has been cut down each time to show more of the butterfly as it is layered on the base.  It is a bit time consuming to do, but the results are amazing! The stamp is by Holly Berry House.  Hope you have a fun day!

Where flowers bloom...

Another card today!  Simple Pleasures in Colorado Springs celebrated their 19th anniversary this weekend and this is one of two exclusive sets by Memory Box honoring their 19 years.  This is a stamp set and a die set and has so many options. (you can order this set from Simple Pleasures too!)  I used watercolor pencils to color it.  I cut out each individual little flower and attached it to a base stamped and colored image... with dimensionals.  There are a few petals that have dropped off the flower too!  I have also glittered the image which is tough to see in the picture but adds so much to the finished look.  I added rhinestones to the center of each flower too.  The sentiment is by Verve Stamps and this card will be for a breast cancer patient...so perfect.  Have a great day!

Aubree's bunny

Wow!  I am finally posting something again!  I have been fairly active in my craft room lately but mostly for cards that were desperately needed!  I took a craft class this weekend at Holly Berry House in Colorado Springs and purchased this adorable stamp.  I made it into a card that opens and the back of the card is the back of the bunny.  The pictures do not do it justice as there is a bunch of glitter on the card.  I colored it with water color pencils and glittered it.  So much fun!  I hope to be back again with the beautiful butterfly we did in class!  See you soon and thanks for dropping by!
