SCS Challenge

This is a card I did for an SCS challenge. I am thrilled with how it turned out. It's another Valentine's Day card for someone special. The papers are Anna Griffin and SU. The stamp is an older stamp from SU. I popped the cute little girl up with dimensionals. I colored her with copic markers. She is all ready to capture someones heart! Have a wonderful and safe evening and Happy New Year!

Happy New Year!

Well, it's the last day of the year and I'm hoping this next year is a better year for everyone! It's such a beautiful day here in AZ - sunny and blue skies! It's a nice day to get started on my valentine cards, especially since I have some new Magnolia stamps that I absolutely adore. This card was done with 2 of them. They were cut out and put on the Top Note die cut by SU. The white is embossed with Cuttlebug Swiss Dots but the picture does not really show that. The circle stamp is by SU and is layered and popped up with dimensionals. All the paper is by SU. Have a wonderful day and a Happy New Year!

January Birthdays

My daughter, father and niece all have birthdays on the same day in January! I try to get busy with their cards soon after Christmas so that they will be ready to send in early January. This is the card I made for my niece. I hope she likes it. I have come to LOVE Magnolia stamps and had lots of fun coloring this with my Copic markers. The paper is from The Blossoms & Butterflies Stack and SU. The stamps are SU and Magnolia and the ribbon is from my crafting stash.

Teenager Birthday

This is another card from my photo stash that I made for one of my nieces this past summer. She is in high school now so this seemed to be appropriate for her. This is "Cinnamon" by Penny Black and she is the cutest girl ready to celebrate her birthday in fine style. I used my copic markers to color the image and a few brads and blue ribbon to add a little accent here and there. This is another of my favorite stamps that I use quite frequently.

Lighthouse birthday

This is my very first post to my new blog so I found a card I had in my photo files and decided to try my hand at publishing it. This is a birthday card that I made for one of my brothers. The image was stamped on white cardstock and colored with copic markers. The sky was done with chalk. The cute bird is a button I had laying around in my stash. I love this stamp as it is so suitable for so many cards for men as well as women. It's also very easy to color.
