Shadowbox

Another little project here that I made for my craft room to put a photo of my future granddaughter in.  The stamps used are by Just Rite and the dies are Spellbinders - all from Becca's collections.  I plan to put a photo on the top portion and maybe her name and size etc.  The sheep and hearts are all stick-ons and there are beautiful pink roses that are not too visible - just behind the bottom corner dies.
I'm hoping and praying my Big Shot parts arrive today.  And I'm hoping I can put it back together by myself!!!  We'll see how it goes.  It's been a LONG 5 days playing the waiting game.  I have work piled up high to do when it is all better!

Gift Set

Today I have a gift set of clothespins that have been decorated with various papers and embellishments.  This is part of one of Becca Feeken's kits of Amazing Paper Grace.   All of the supplies are included in the kit along with directions full of pictures for making each item.  The stamps are by Just Rite and dies are by Spellbinders.
Hope you have a wonderful weekend!

A Happy Birthday Card

Today I have a birthday card to share.  It is one of those stair step cards that look so difficult to make but are really so easy.  It is a matter of cutting a few slits in the card and creasing for the folds.  Then it is cut and paste for decorating it.  These are some older papers I had in my stash that had lots of cut outs that worked well for this card.  I added a few stamped sentiments here and there and bling to the flowers.  How fun it that!
I have been on a roll lately with my blog but it is about to come to a screeching halt again.  My Big Shot has died.  I am devastated.  I called Sizzix and they sent me directions to take it apart to figure out what is broken on it.  Well, that job is best left to my hubby so it will be another day or so before he is home to look at it.  And then I will have to call and get the part shipped to me!   UGH!  I can not make cards without a die cut machine.  It is killing me!  I NEED it to start on my valentines.   I do have a few more cards that have not been posted so that will get me through a few days. But life will not be good for me for awhile without my favorite tool!
Have a great day and don't break any crafting tools!!!

With Sympathy

Today I have another Sympathy card that I made last week.  It uses Becca's dies by Spellbinders.  The papers are by My Mind's Eyes (I think!!!).  I popped up the diecuts and added a few pearls and a bow.

Hope you have a great week!

Today I have a few pictures I made for my daughter's baby room.  These are her nursery colors and she has a baby lamb theme.  So, these were perfect.  I used lots of Magnolia stamps and colored them with Copics.  I have several dies by Spellbinders and also a few punches were used.  I added lots of embellishments.  Unfortunately 6 x 6 frames are impossible to find so I had these custom made.
We're off to Denver for Brittany's birthday...have a great day!

With Sympathy

I have been busy making Sympathy cards this week.  This is one I made using "Becka's" Spellbinders dies.  The papers are Kaisercraft.  I added a seam tape ribbon and paper flower and stick pin to finish it off.  The stamped sentiment is by Paper Smooches.
We have a busy weekend planned so should be fun to get away.   Thanks for dropping by!

I'm back with my first calendar month for 2013!  This was made with Graphic 45 papers.  All the images were cut out and popped up with dimensionals.  I added a few embellishments here and there and it was done.  I'm still hunting for an easel to put the months on but haven't found what I want yet.  Maybe by December I will find it!
I'll be back tomorrow with one of my 3 sympathy cards I have had to do the past few days.  Two family members and a friend's Mom died in less than a week.  They are never fun to do but I enjoy spending the time "remembering" while making a special card for the family.
Have a great day!

Happy Birthday

I am FINALLY back to my blog after almost a month away!  I tried to post something a week ago and Internet Explorer would not cooperate with me and allow me to post any pictures.  So, I had to wait until hubby was home to help me conquer this madness!  We are now using Firefox so we'll see how things go!  It is has started out as a very busy month for card making.  I have 3 birthdays on the 15th and I'm still working on those cards.  This is the first.  The DP really made this card go together rather quickly.  I simply cut out designs and popped them on.  The papers are by Simple Stories.  They really do make things easy for you and sometimes I need that!!!  The sentiment inside the card is Hero Arts.  I love the font!  I used one of my dies to cut out the pennants and made them in to party hats on the front of the card - how cool is that!!!
Hope you have a great day and I hope to be back tomorrow with another card.  I have done lots of crafting but just haven't been able to get anything on my darn blog!!!
