Fun Stuff!

I went to Albuquerque, NM last fall and took a class by Dee Gruenig. This was the last class that she taught before she retired from stamping. It was fabulous and I learned so much. This is a picture of a tag I made in class using her watercolor techniques. The rubber stamp was colored with her Marvy Markers and then sprayed with water. You may not be able to see the speckles in the background but this was done with a brush that was tapped to give the speckled look. The edges were done with her caligraphy markers. The groove in the marker fits on the edge of the paper and goes around the edges nicely. I really should have put another flower on the tag but sometimes it's hard to think about everything while you are taking a class and learning new techniques. She was an awesome teacher and you can find her stamps here.
