This was a quick and easy valentine to make and that's exactly what I like! The red cardstock was embossed for added dimension. The red hearts were just stamped with MSE stamp. The white border at the bottom is a Bazzill trim that has been embellished with red rhinestones and ribbon. How simple is that!

Happy Valentine's Day!
Hope your day is going well! I spent my day working on insurance claims for my hubby's recent hospital visit. What a mess! I am constantly amazed at how many errors I find. There is no end to it. And I think most of them are intentional - to see if they can try to get more money from us. I will fight every last one of those darn claims and they aren't getting an extra penny from me either!
So here is another V-day card. The papers are actually scraps from my V-day stash. The three hearts stamp is by My Sentiments Exactly and the other is a $1 stamp from a year or two ago.
Have a great day!

Be My Valentine
Here is the first of my valentines and I hope I get quite a few more done before long! Time is flying by me way too fast!!! My crafting time is limited so we'll see what happens! This is an old stamp by Penny Black that I use quite often for many occasions. The papers are by Pebbles - that's a new one for me but I just recently found it at my LSS and love it! The sentiment is by Inkadinkado - another old stamp! Hope you have a fun day!!!

Pretty in pink
It's so great to be back in my craft room! We spent the past few weeks in Colorado house hunting and also helping my daughter out with her hip surgery. No, we have not found our dream house yet but saw lots of beautiful homes and lots of snow! We have a realtor working for us so hopefully between her and my hours spent on the computer...we will come up with something. My daughter is doing very well. She came out of the surgery with no pain in her hips where she had it for the past 4 months - but new pain from the incisions. But, she had no pain meds after her first day and says the pain is gone! Her doctor and the hospital were outstanding. So...I'm back again but my time will be limited with all the work we have to do to clean out the house and get ready for a move. What a job! Today I made 4 cards. Unbelievable! I will post one today and share the others another time.
This card was made with all new fun things I got today. The stamps and die cuts are by Prickley Pear. The flourish is a Bazzill die cut that comes precut in a package of about 20 or so. The paper is Cosmo Cricket - DeLovely. The bottom bracket edge is also a die by My Favorite Things. I just trimmed the white part with scissors but the pink paper was done with the die. The pearly center of the flower is a button.
Thanks for dropping by. Hope to post some valentines in the next few postings! Have a great day!

The cutest little house!
I was going through my craft cabinets and I found this chipboard house to decorate. I was so excited because it would be so perfect to give to our realtor full of candy. So, I got busy and covered it in papers to match the cards I made her. I absolutely love this pad of paper by Kaisercraft! It has some punch outs in the back too! Anyways, I added a little Tim Holtz door knob to it and put one of his "LIFE" keys on the top of the roof. I had so much fun decorating this! And I filled it up with Reese's miniature peanut butter cups.
Hope you have a great weekend! This may be my last post for a few weeks. I'm heading to Colorado so won't be crafting for awhile! Take care!

Thank you
Here are a few more cards I made to take to my realtor in Colorado. I thought she might be able to use these for her clients. I made the keys on my Silhouette and then distressed them a bit. The base of the card was embossed. The sentiment is by Papertrey Ink. Pretty simple!
Have a great day!

Happy New Year!
Happy New Year! I hope this will be a much better year for my family than 2010! It was one year I don't care to repeat! Bill is FINALLY healed from his broken back but is still supposed to take it easy for awhile. He won't go back to work for another month as he goes through physcial therapy and gets his strength back.
We are headed to Colorado this weekend to house hunt and help my daughter as she goes through hip surgery. We are pretty excited about moving back to Colorado. It's been a dream of ours since we left there in 1992. I just hope the snow holds off for the first few days we are there so we can look around and find our next home.
So...this is a set of cards I made for our realtor as a thank-you for helping us out. I will package them in a plastic box with a ribbon. I plan to do another set to go with it. The papers used for this set are all in a pad by KaiserCraft - Tea at Elsie's. It is one pad of paper that I think I will use up quickly! The stamp is by SU.
Hope you have a wonderful day and I hope to see you back much sooner this next time!
