Wild about you!

This is a card I made for a challenge on SCS shown here. I loved the color combination and thought I would use some new stamps I had laying around by Dee Gruenig. This is her Jungle Set. I colored them with her Marvy markers and then stamped the images and cut them out. The background is a SU stamp and the sentiment is by Paper Salon. The edges of the DP by Basicgrey is made using a Martha Stewart punch. I love this punch!. The hearts are buttons in those small packages at Michael's. Hope they stay on! They were an afterthought and are just glued on with some heavy duty glue - guess we will find out how heavy duty it is!

Graduation card

This is my first graduation card for the season and is also a MOJO80 challenge. I always try to find a way to make a card using a challenge that will be sent out in the near future. I did the personalization with my JustRite stamps. The stamp is a House Mouse by Stampabilities. I colored it with Copic markers. You can find the challenge here. Have a wonderful sunny day!

Easter Blessings

I haven't stamped in a few days and it's always hard to get back into the creative mindset when I allow myself to do something silly like that! So, I went to my favorites on SCS and cased this card by Denamidesigns here. I made a few changes to make it mine but loved her idea and have been wanting to use these $1 Michael's stamps for quite some time. There is lots of layering and a bit of Copic coloring but that's about it. I did have to back the back side of the card because the alcohol markers do go through the back. Guess I should have used some of Gina K's heavy duty paper where this won't happen! I just don't happen to have any! Have a great day!

Happy Zebra!

I started working in my stamp room at 7 am this morning because I just couldn't wait to do a black and white card for the "Limited Supplies Challenge" on SCS seen here. I got out my Dee Gruenig stamps again and went to work. The zebra was perfect for this challenge. She is embossed to make her stand out a bit more. She is mounted on several layers including a scalloped nestie and a top note die cut. The zebra paper is by Frances Meyer. The "happy" is mounted in a little frame with brads. Hope you like her!!! Have a great weekend!

Easter Money Envelope

I have a friend who needed a card to put money in for her grandsons. This is what I made. There are just layers of cardstock and then a coin envelope attached to one layer. I had to fold the bottom of the envelope under a bit so it would fit the card. The bunny is a $1 stamp and the papers are by SU. I did 3 of these in about 10 or 15 minutes total. I think my son will also get one for Easter. It's so hard to make cards for males and I think this will be great for older teenager boys and my son who is 25. They always seem to appreciate any card that comes with money!

SC221 Challenge

This is another Easter card I made for a challenge on SCS. It was a sketch challenge that can be found here. The stamps are by Penny Black. The DP is by Best Creations and SU. The image is also popped up with dimensionals. The Easter eggs on the sentiment are by Judith.

TLC213 Mini Easter Basket

This was a challenge on SCS that was so much fun to make! I downloaded the template and printed it on the back of my papers so the marks would not show. I cut and folded and it was pretty much done. The DP is by Chloe Marie and the yellow is by Bazzill and SU. I reinforced the handle with a yellow backing and trimmed it with my scallop scissors. This is a tiny basket but perfect for little gifts for friends! Have fun!
