More Christmas Tags
This is my last in this series of holiday tags. Again, these were made from large 12 x 12 papers that usually had one decorative side to it. I cut tags from the sides and then added embellishments, ribbons, diecuts and bling. These really went quickly which is what I love about them as my time is getting very short for projects I really want to get done for the holiday season.

Christmas Tags
Hello my friends! I am finally taking a bit of time to play in my craftroom today. I wanted to get started on xmas tags for packages. If I don't start early...it won't get done. And I have a big fear that I will be doing some wedding things at the last minute through the end of October so I trying to do what I can now. We'll see what happens! So, here are some quick and easy tags I made using papers I had on hand. I went through my xmas papers and found some with pretty designs on the edges or one side of the papers. Then I just cut them into tags and added embellishments and ribbons. I love that they are simple, yet elegant. I must have made about 25 in a few hours! It was fun getting back into the swing of things. I'll be back with more to share another time! Happy crafting!

Darcy's Baptismal card
This is a baptismal card I made for a 9 year old little girl that joined the church the same day as us. She was recently adopted from Foster Care and asked her new parents to join a church and allow her to be baptised! Her wishes came true in so many ways! Her parents are in their 70's! She is a very smart little girl and so sweet. It is hard to believe what she has been through in her short life but hopefully things have become much better for her with her new family. This stamp is from a Baptismal set by Jillian. The background is a Sizzix embossing folder, I believe. I added a touch of pink to the card and some pearls.

4th of July card
I'm back with a 4th of July bday card for my nephew. I believe he will be 30 years old! This was made from a Sizzix Pop n Cut die. I added a few Spellbinders dies for the inside of the card. The sentiment is embossed. The cutie below the card is my granddaughter who is 5 months old today. Isn't she adorable?
Hope you have a good weekend!

Baptismal card
I am back with a post of a baptismal card I made for my granddaughter. This was made with lots of Spellbinder's dies. The stamp is a very old stamp I have had for many years and I'm unable to make out the name of the company that makes it. Sorry about that! I stamped and cut it out and added a few hints of pink on the bows, lace and hanger. Pearls were added to the card for added embellishments.
Here is a link for the directions for making the Star Album that was posted previously. Hope this helps!
http://www.scrapbook-crazy.com/star-album-instructions.html
I used 4" high pages rather than 5 3/8" (or whatever was used) as shown in the directions. I used the amount of pages that I needed for the amount of pictures I wanted to display. It turned out beautifully and my folks really enjoy it. The book is very quick to put together too so that makes it even more fun!
I have had several people ask me about the wildfires. Yes, I did have to evacuate for 4.5 days. My house is fine, no damages here. I will be going through the house taking pictures of EVERYTHING so we will be more prepared in the event of another fire. If I go through the trouble of doing this...there will be no more fires so that is my plans. I can't tell you how horrifying the experience was and the nightmares I am still having now! Thanks for the prayers...God answered them!

60th Anniversary Star Album
This is a Star Album that I made for my parents 60th anniversary. I believe I found the direction on SCS but I'm not sure as it's been awhile since I put it together. It was actually very simple to make and I had seen one many years ago and always wanted to try it. I finally found a reason to make one. It is full of lots of photos, embellishments and memories! The papers are all from one pad of paper...Lyric is the name of it. The papers were well suited for this occasion.
I am FINALLY back home after being evacuated because of the Black Forest Fires in Colorado. I was gone 4.5 days and they were probably the longest days of my life! It's an experience I would never care to repeat. I had 10 minutes to get out and it was horrifying. I am so glad to be back home.
Thanks for dropping by!
