Happy Easter

Hope you are enjoying these nice spring days we seem to be having in much of the country. I can not believe it has been in the high 70's here in Colorado! Unbelievable for March! Unfortunately I've been busy INSIDE cleaning and buffing hardwood floors. What a job! I have about half of it done and I've been working 2 days on it! But, they do look beautiful!

Here is an Easter card I made today and it's quick and easy - just like I like it! The bunnies are by Denami Designs and are covered with the glitter glue for a little extra pizazz. The sentiment is by Paper Salon. Thge image is cut out and popped up on dimensionals on a Spellbinders frame. The DP is by Cosmo Cricket and the ribbon is from Sharon Johnson's store.

Have a wonderful day!

Easter Blessings

I'm back with an Easter card. The day is creeping up on me and I haven't done hardly any cards yet! This is probably my favorite Easter stamp. It's a very old stamp by Stampendous and it's from their Beatrix Potter collection. I pull it out every year. I added a few dollar stamps in the center of the bunny design. And the sentiment is by Judith. The beautiful frame is by Spellbinders.

Hope your week goes well. I have not been crafting in quite some time so am hoping I can find time this week to get up to my craft room. I plan to purchase a floor buffer for all my wood floors so may find myself working a little too hard in the near future. But, it's better than getting down on my hands and knees! Have a great week!

Fun stuff!

I'm back with some fun stuff I made this past week. I made some bunny cake pops for my neighbor grandkids. I think they are way too much work for what they are but they are fun to do. I put them in little box baskets that I picked up at Walmart. They were loved by the little kids!

The card I made was also fun. It's a Northwoods stamp. The sentiment on the tag of the golf bag is a tiny stamp from a company in Arizona that I can not remember the name of. I wish I could because I would love to order a bunch more tiny sentiments from them. They were at one of the big stamp shows in Phoenix several years ago. They had zillions of tiny tiny stamps. If you know the name of the company, please let me know cause I want more!!! The DP is by SU and is several years old. I really love how it all turned out - masculine cards are tough for me! My father-in-law will love it.

So, we finally got all our cabinets put in last week. We are STILL waiting on our rock guy to come finish up the fireplace. He was supposed to be here last Friday or Saturday. It's a small job so I know he doesn't want to make a special trip up here to do it but I'm also waiting on an estimate from him for a larger job as well. He does very good work so I don't want to hunt for someone else. I just have to be patient and that is hard when I want this job done NOW!!! I have been moving stuff around everywhere trying to get more organized with all the new cabinets. I actually have some EMPTY cabinets now!!! Wish they were in my craft room!!!

Have a great rest of the week. My daughter is coming in for a few days tomorrow so I'll be on the go for awhile!

Peachy card

I have a new embossing folder that just screamed Easter to me! I love the details on it and thought I would just add a few flowers so as not to take away to much from the beauty of the design. So, no stamping here. The folder is Cuttlebug and the flowers are all punches. The flourish is a die cut by Sizzix. The leaves are Spellbinders.

Also, here is a photo of my recent quilt. It looks so much more beautiful in real life. It's in browns, beiges and teal tones and goes so well in my basement living area. It's a sewing theme and I'm truly having a hard time splitting my time between sewing and card making right now. I actually started another quilt with some fabric I have had for quite some time. It's a Mary Engelbreit quilt so will be fun and bright. So, if you don't see many postings on here...I'm busy sewing!!!

Have a great day!

May your day...

I'm back with another window card! I used an embossing folder for the brick design and then gently ran some distressing ink over the bricks. The grass is a Sizzix die cut. The window and vine are die cuts from Poppy Stamps. The flowers are punches and the curtain is a MS eyelet border punch. The sentiment is by SU.

It's been a crazy week here. We had lots of major projects going on so I've been busy trying to rearrange drawers, cabinets and closets since we have more storage now. It's like we just moved in again! I did get a quilt back from my quilting friend and maybe I will get a picture of it on here in the next few days.

Hope you have a good week! It's been sunny and beautiful here - in the 60's and 70's!!!

Miss You

I'm back with a quick card to share. The bird image is actually a K & Co. die cut in a package of many. I have cut it apart to use on this card. The ribbon is from Sharon Johnson's, No Time to Stamp store. The top border is Spellbinders and the green foliage is a punch.

I had my wisdom teeth out on Thursday afternoon and have been so much better. It's amazing the pain they can cause.

I probably won't be posting too much this week. We are having some major projects done in the house so I will be supervising with that since my hubby won't be available. I will be so glad to get the house back together again! My hubby redesigned our closet so that has taken about 10 days to get completed with his crazy work schedule. It is SO much nicer now and much more usable space. The cabinet guys will be in the LR this week - more messes but it will be worth it in the end! Hope your week goes well! See you soon with some exciting news!
