Wishing you Sunny Days Ahead!
This card was made using a design from my Silhouette SD. The white lacy top and bottom were done on it. If you are looking for a fun gift for Christmas...I give it 10 stars! Every week they come out with about 30 new designs and they have now teamed up with Hero Arts to do designs that go with some of their stamps. Should be interesting! Anyways...the stamp is by Inkadinkado and was colored with Copics. I added a few pearls to the flowers and to the lacy design. There is a sheer bow at the bottom of the stamped design - look hard! It's a much prettier card in real life! The DP is by K & Company and is actually in a Christmas package! Pretty bizarre! I guess there are a few snowflakes on parts of the DP! Have a great day!

Thanksgiving Card
Another Thankgiving card at the last minute! I picked up this set of stamps on 70% clearance at Michael's and wanted to try it out. The medallion is by Inkadinkado and the "give thanks" is from SU. The green paper is stamped with Versamark and is another of the Inkadinkado stamps in the set. The papers are SU. The medallion is stamped in several colors and layered with dimensionals. The strings are actually called Scrapper's Floss! MORE to come tomorrow!

Recipe cards
I make about 20-25 different kinds of cookies, candies and cakes each holiday season. I decided I wanted to put my favorite recipes in a book. I purchased a 6 x 6 photo album so I could use the pockets to put my recipes in. When I am baking cookies, my recipes have a tendency to get splattered with everything so this protects the recipes. That is the glare you see in the photos! Anyways...these are a few recipes I have put into my book. I print my recipes on the computer and then just mount them on cardstock and various scraps of DP. These are really quick and fun to do. I'll be making a few more for gifts too.

Gift Bag
This is a simple tag I made to put on a plain gift bag. The background is a poinsettia stamp by Rubber Stampede. The picture does not do it justice! I colored it with Copics. It is mounted on a pink metallic paper. The tag on top is a $1 Michael's stamp. I wanted a pink bag for the pink item that will go inside. I will have to wait and post that "goody" after the holidays. I wouldn't want to spoil xmas for anyone!

American Girls
I finally had a few minutes in my craft room today and made this card which reminds me so much of some of the party things from the American Girls collection from way back when my daughter was young. The girly stamp is by Rubber Stampede. It is just inked and stamped!!! The sentiment is one of those tiny stamps I got a few weeks ago at a stamping convention. I just love them because the sentiment is not the focal point of the card. The punch on the bottom is by Martha Stewart, one of her new ones. The papers and ribbon are from SU. I "HOPE" to be back tomorrow with another posting. We'll see how it goes!!!

Graphic 45 Magnets or Pins
I finally found something to make with these tiny images from some Graphic 45 Christmas paper. These can be pins or magnets. They are just dominoes that I covered with paper. I would ideally like to paint them with clear crackle paint but I don't have any so they will just have to be without. The images were cut and glued on to a background. I ran ribbon around the edges of the dominoes and then made a bow separately for the top and glued it on. The back is also backed with paper. Simple and fast! Have a fun day!

Thanksgiving Place Cards
I was inspired by Jerri Kay's place cards and came up with my version today. I may have to print the names on the computer so it will look nicer though! I will try that tomorrow and then just punch the name from an oval shaped punch by SU. We'll see! These are made with 2 different nesties. The corn husks are a JustRite stamp that has been stamped several times and cut out and layered several layers high. I colored the image with Copics. The bow has Diamond Glaze on it to make it shine. The tiny tulip shapes on the right are from the punched out image. I just popped them up with dimensionals and put pearls on them. I attached the place card to a scored piece of paper that has been folded to fit behind the place card.
On my card yesterday with the poinsettia's, I added a few silver bling to the center of the flower and it really jazzed it up a bit!
Hope you had time to remember our veteran's today. I took my veteran to dinner! There was SO SO SO much traffic everywhere today that we decided to just come straight home afterwards! It was like Christmas Eve!!!
Have a great day!

Another Christmas Card!
I think I must have more than I need for xmas cards this year....FINALLY! But, I always manage to find one more that I want to make! I love making Halloween cards and I love making Christmas cards! I picked up this stamp this past weekend and decided I really needed to put some ink to it! I used my Versamark and then just embossed it with silver powder. I also did one flower on burgundy paper and cut it out. I did a border with my new Martha Stewart punch and mounted it on a strip of grey paper. This was actually a pretty simple card once I figured out what I wanted to do. I must say it sat on my desk for a few days before it went past the embossing stage! Have a fun day!

Popsicle Card
I've been MIA for a few days but I still had time for fun but just couldn't post anything I worked on since it's xmas stuff! I really don't want to spoil it for anyone!!! Anyways...I found these really cute popsicle sticks at Walmart today and I thought they would be perfect for making popsicle cards. They are actually miniature ones so worked great for this. Anyways...this is pretty self-explanatory! The center orange is a SU stamp and the outer ring is Just Rite stamps. The card is just rounded on the corners and punched with a scallop punch for the "bite". I put a YUM YUM stamp inside and a Happy Birthday stamp too. I will probably make a set of 4 of these in various colors. Too cute!
I went to the Mesa Stamping Show on Saturday and it was lots of fun. It's always nice to see stuff you don't see in all the stores. Now I just have to find time to play with some of my new things! That is a challenge at this time of year!!! Have a fun day and if you live in Arizona...we may need a popsicle today!!! I'm ready for some cooler weather!!!

Gift card holder
This is a gift card holder I made as part of a birthday gift. I got a photo of a dvd that the recepient wanted and printed it up for the front of the gift card holder. The holder is made with one sheet of paper that is folded so that the center of the paper is the fold you see with the gift card coming out. I just punched that fold with 2 different punches to make the opening to put the gift card in. I added a few sentiments inside the card holder that are from Papertrey Ink and SU. The tab is a SU punch. I have put a magnet on it so it just snaps shut very easily. Pretty cool, huh?

Thanksgiving Card
I needed to make a Thanksgiving card for a friend for her daughter, so this is what I came up with. They love purple so I decided to bring it out! The stamp is a Just Rite Stamp. The lacy look is a Martha Stewart punch that is punched and cut apart and then the halves are adhered to the back of the sentiment. The next layer is a JustRite border stamp that has been distressed and punched out with a scalloped nestie. The purple layer is just a scalloped nestie. The DP is by Debbie Mum. The bow is made with Bow Easy. It does make the most beautiful bows! Have a great day!

Cookie can and card gift set
This is a gift set I made to put homemade cookies in. I purchased the can from Papertrey Ink. The top of the can is in front of the card. It is made with Justrite Stamps. The can is just covered with DP by K & Co. The card is also made with a Justrite stamp. Hope I can find time to make goodies to fill it!!! Have a fun day!

Candy Cane Card
This was a fun card to make. The candy cane was made with a brass embossing stencil and chalked in after it was embossed. I then made those cute fans with a new Martha Stewart punch. She has some really awesome ones out now and I want them all!!! Michael's needs to put out more coupons!!! The edge punch is a snowflake design that is cut and embossed. It's pretty cool! The DP is by Imaginisce and is glittery! This was just a fun card to do with so many different techniques going on! Have a fun day!

Set of Snowman Cards
Here's a set of snowman cards made with the Just Rite Stamps. I colored the snowman to match the snowman in the DP by Debbie Mum. The snowman is popped up with dimensionals. A green ribbon is behind him. The sentiment is by Papertrey Ink. The red DP is SU papers. The cards are in a clear box...thus the glare. Have a great day!

Merry Christmas Ornament
Hope everyone had a fun Halloween. I put a child gate up at my front door and just kept my front door open so the dogs could see out. They had the most wonderful time!!! The doorbell never rang so it never bothered them. They greeted everyone that came to the front door and got lots of oohs and aahs for their cute costumes. Everyone patted their little heads and they thought that everyone came to the house just to see them. They had so much fun and it really makes a world of difference not having the doorbell startle them every few minutes.
This is a card I made using "dazzlers". I pressed the gold ornament outline onto burgundy paper and then cut the ornament out around the outside edges and mounted it on a few new Nesties I got a few weeks ago. The DP is by Paper Studio. I punched the edging and put it along the one side to bring out the green in the papers. I don't remember the company for the sentiment...it's unmounted red rubber.
Have a great week!
